New American Horror Story Coven Poll – What Cliffhanger Resolution Are You Dying To Find Out?

January 12th Update:

Thanks to all who took the poll, yo! These are FUN. We purposely put an option for “other”, and it got two votes this time, but alas, those who chose it forgot to add their own answer! Feel free, some of the previous answers are pretty funny (sometimes I also wish the writers could see the ideas) and no-one can see who you are. I’m the official Administrator slash Headmistress Webmistress for AHS and related material, and even if I took pains researching it, the poll will NOT tell me who you are. Keep voting, as we get down to the last 3 episodes, we’ll keep the polls–and maybe a survey–going (there’ll even be a couple of post-finale ones; vote for your favorite bitchy comment, most hated character, scariest character, most shocking moment… you get the idea).

So! American Horror Story Coven will be back on in less than 48 hours*  (this’ll be Episode Ten, “The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks”–guess who guest-stars as herself) and we were all left with some serious “burning questions” we want to see answered after “Head” aired on December 11th. Tell us which one (or two) of them you’ve been waiting for the most over the show’s weeks-long holiday “hiatus” to find out!

*and I have written exactly ZERO of my “Ten Things We Learned” for the missing, what, four or so episodes I’m behind by.  Sorry, things got kind of wacky over the holidays. Tree’s down now, things are almost back to normal, I’ll see what I can do… as always, thanks for your patience.

‘American Horror Story’: Ryan Murphy on the latest ‘Coven’ and whether [SPOILER] is dead — EXCLUSIVE

The bad news? We have to wait another month (well, 28 days) to find out if Queenie will be back or not, and to see Fiona and Marie Laveau working together (among other things). The good news? The title of the January 8th episode is “The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks“! Click “Read More” above for the EW.com exclusive interview with Ryan Murphy on “Head” and what’s to come. Keep checking back with Horror Boom, since we’ll be doing our best to give you plenty of content to keep you from American Horror Story Coven withdrawal while you wait for the mid-season break to end!

‘American Horror Story’: Ryan Murphy on chopping off [SPOILER]’s head and even more Stevie Nicks — EXCLUSIVE

We’re trying to find out right now whether there are twelve episodes, which the Entertainment Weekly cover story reported last week, or thirteen (two sites changed their information in the late afternoon to add an extra episode, so cross your fingers). In either case, next week’s show, “Head,” will be the last episode before the holiday hiatus. The finale date is set firm for January 29th, so American Horror Story Coven will either be back January 8th or January 15th. Don’t forget that next week, Stevie Nicks will be showing up – read the article to see why it won’t be her only appearance playing herself before the finale!

NEW- Read Ten BIG Secrets of Last Half Of The American Horror Story Coven Season, Spilled By Ryan Murphy (SPOILERS)!

Uh… wow. We’re not entirely sure if Ryan Murphy knows the difference between a “tease” and a spoiler. Lots of these are pretty juicy, and there’s a couple we wish we hadn’t read, or that Murphy had been a little more vague on. But of course, we read them anyway!  The link to the 10-page EW.com piece (which may or may not be an online exclusive, since the issue with the Entertainment Weekly cover story hasn’t shown in the mail yet) puts them on 10 different pages, so you have a chance to stop yourself before you read the next one.

We’ll try to keep the topics vague, but among other things, Ryan Murphy spills on:

  • Exactly how and why Stevie Nicks shows up (we had a theory on it, and now Murphy has confirmed it)
  • Witch Which core characters the last half of the season will focus on
  • If anyone has correctly guessed who the Supreme will be
  • Which character who only had a couple of scenes, then vanished, will be back with a vengeance
  • How Marie Laveau got her eternal youth/immortality (hint: ever heard of Papa Legba?)
  • Delphine LaLaurie‘s upcoming character arc
  • Who has what Murphy refers to as a “juicy midlife crisis”
  • Much more specific info about the witch hunter/s
  • The tone of the finale (which will air near the end of January)

SO, if any of those sound interesting to you and you want some BIG hints (and a couple things Murphy just blurted out rather than hinted at), click the big link below, buckle up, and check out the article! The Stevie Nicks reveal is #10, so you could always skip-click through the first 9 pages to get to it and find out, if you want.

The creepshow’s co-creator, Ryan Murphy, announced on Twitter Tuesday morning that the “Rhiannon” songstress has agreed to make a guest appearance. No word yet on whether she’ll be warbling one of her hits — or even if she’ll be real or a figment of Misty’s vivid imagination — but regardless, Murphy has pulled off what is likely the (spell) casting coup of the year!

What do you think? Are you as stoked as Misty that her idol is coming to Coven? Hit the comments.

‘American Horror Story’: Ryan Murphy talks the latest episode ‘Boy Parts’ and Stevie Nicks’ influence on ‘Coven’ — EXCLUSIVE

HOAH!  Don’t miss this post-mortem*! Note that this is EW.com‘s “Exclusive”, not Horror Boom’s – when we re-blog a piece from them (hey, would YOU want to miss their awesome news/interview pieces that are clearly written by a fellow horror –and American Horror Story–fan?), we can’t edit the subject line, or we absolutely would;  we want everyone in the writing and horror community to know that we have a zero-tolerance policy on anything approaching plagiarism**. Now to do more research on ‘The Axe Man’ (hint: check the ‘Related Articles’ below for the casting scoop)–look for our piece on this week’s episode, “Boy Parts” soon. Plus, we’re pretty sure who the threesome Murphy promised us  teased is going to consist of. If you missed the (late) edition we wrote on “Bitchcraft,” check it out here.

*So to speak…

**But apparently at least this week, an open-door policy on run-on sentences–and this writer (me) has a BA in Creative Writing, plus earns money copy editing and writing. So, decades of experience go out the window sometimes when I get really, really excited about my favorite show currently on TV, which happens to be horror-related. Whattaya gonna do?

‘American Horror Story’: Lily Rabe talks returning to ‘Coven’ as a Stevie Nicks-obsessed witch

We knew she wasn’t burned at the stake! That was one of the best (and most satisfying) cold opens in a loooong time. Lily Rabe was having a blast, too, we could tell!
