Every review we read seems like they’re trying to discourage us (in varying degrees, depending on the review) from seeing the movie, but at the same time, mention that it delivers the jump scares. Now Scott Foundas at Variety says it has a giant, winged demon created by Nicotero/Berger. How the hell are we not supposed to see it now?
HORROR BOOM 
I’ve heard from a variety of sources that this is a movie you can wait to watch it via redbox/netflix. It’s unfortunate, this could have really brought back creepy doll horror films. I’m sure the rights owners of the child’s play movies are bummed out about the theater activity with this one.
