We’re going to be doing some crying of our own after we finish watching the Breaking Bad finale; we’re guessing more than once. Nice comment, GRRM – don’t worry about “messing up the end”, because at the rate you’re going, Game of Thrones might outlive you. (We never watched “Lost”, we just thought it was shitty of GRRM to throw stones in that department).
I’m not a nerd about the other shows, but Six Feet is my favorite series of all time!! I still miss it. Kicked Sopranos ass at the time no matter what anybody says. 🙂 Genius stuff.
Oh, I LOVED that show. My husband gave me the complete series set(that has fake grass on top) for Christmas a couple ears ago. I got into it ten years ago, it sort of helped prepare me for losing my mom really suddenly in 2007 (sort of-I guess I knew what’s normal to feel after a horrible loss). Wish Fisher Diaz & Sons could have taken care of her. The ending was genius and when the series finale first aired in 2005, the end montage where the showed all the characters passing surprised me by making me cry harder than anything I’ve ever seen on a TV show. Talk about closure! (The Sopranos could take a lesson in not pissing off viewers with a series finale from the show) Now I feel like re-watching the series- we do it every couple years. Love seeing Frances Conroy on American Horror Story!
I’ve re-watch the series a few times too! And I completely agree about the final scene and episode. Ha! I even blogged about it. 🙂
Still got a link for it anywhere?
