Oh, they SO should have left this in! Give me one valid reason for cutting this awesome scene out. ONE! I don’t own any of the boxed sets because I can’t afford them, but I’ll give them this: the deleted scenes are usually well worth including (even though they’re usually darker –and in some cases much more depressing– than the episode that was aired). This seems like something from the comics – there’s stuff in there so disturbing and wrong and fucked-up and brutal that the show will never be able to ‘go there’ (pretty confident that other long-time readers of the comics will definitely back me up on this one). However, this would have been a great compromise. We love it.
