Back in January we learned that Kimberly Peirce’s upcoming re-imagining of Carrie was getting delayed an insane 7 months away from its original release date of March 15, 2013. Up until now it was a mystery as to why Sony decided to push the film to October 18th, 2013. Typically when a film gets such a massive delay it sends up a major red flag because it usually means trouble for a film. Is that the case with Carrie, or did they just go back to do a bit of tweaking?
