Remember that recent post from Variety? Well, speak of the devil (literally, in this franchise’s case; we have below the teaser trailer for REC 4: Apocalypse for your viewing pleasure. READ THE BELOW BEFORE WATCHING, THOUGH!

Warning re: this teaser…

1. It spoils the ending of REC (which, if you haven’t seen yet, you REALLY need to. Netflix has it …and it is in out personal Top Ten Scariest Movies Ever Made list. And that list was VERY hard to trim down).

2. It spoils the ending of REC 2. (Also worth seeing, unless you hated the first one… but I doubt you’d be here if you did)

3. There’s no new footage, but it is still scary as hell.

DO NOT WATCH THE TEASER IF YOU HAVen’T SEEN REC AND REC2 AND PLAN TO! YOU WILL THANK US LATER!

Producer Adrian Guerra and film finance specialist Xavi Parache have teamed to create Oceano Media, a Barcelona-based financial broker and consultancy.

Move pairs two young movers and shakers on the Spanish film scene. Guerra most recently produced helmer Eugenio Mira’s “Grand Piano,” (pictured) starring Elijah Wood and John Cusack, which market preems at Cannes, sold by Solution Entertainment. Parache represents Paris bank Natixis Coficine, Europe’s biggest film lender, in Spain and Latin America.

Speaking of Mother’s Day, here’s one last themed treat. Someone on staff in the SNL writer’s room is a Grudge/Ju-On fan like we are! Yeah, we know Kayako isn’t a Korean water ghost*, doesn’t vomit up black goo and that it’s Sadako in The Ring that crawls out of the TV. We’d be pretty shitty J-Horror/K-Horror geeks if we didn’t get that right.

MOM! we were trying to watch that!

So what happens when the Disney Channel does a new show about two kids whose mom gets drowned by a jealous man when she’s visiting Korea? Hilarity ensues. Plus Kristen Wiig nails it!
